Stranraer
Ferry - There are regular sailings from Larne to Stranraer / Cairnryan and timetables are available from Port of Larne.T: +44 (0) 990 980777.
Train - There are several daily trains from Glasgow. One direct train daily (Monday to Saturday) from Newcastle and Carlisle. Timetable from Scotrail. T: +44 (0) 345 484950.
Bus

Car
- A74 (M74) to Carlisle and Gretna - A75 to Stranraer - A77 to Portpatrick.

St Johns Town of Dalry
Bus - There are several buses that run from Dalry to Castle Douglas which can link to Dumfries (Rail Station available) or east, back to Stranraer.
Car
- From A74 (M74) take the A75 east for Stranraer then take the A713 north for 18 miles approx.

Sanquhar
Train - Several daily trains from Glasgow one direct train daily (Monday to Saturday) from Newcastle and Carlisle. Timetable from Railtrack. T: +44 (0) 345 484950.
Car
- A74 (M74) to Carlisle and Gretna - then A75 to Dumfries and the A76 to Sanquhar.

Moffat
Bus - Buses run from various UK locations. Timetable from National Express T: +44 (0) 990 808080.

Cockburnspath
Bus - Upon completion of your walk on the last day there is a local bus which takes you to Dunbar, the last bus usually 16:45 hours - alternative taxi approx £10.00.
